We are looking for someone to join our great team looking after our lovely 19 year old daughter in a warm, friendly household.She has a rare genetic condition, is cortically blind, has intractable epilepsy and uses a wheelchair. She communicates non verbally. She is happy, warm and sociable. She loves to be out and about, enjoys music, dancing, massage, cafes and swimming.

We are looking for a positive, energetic,responsible and sensitive person to work approximately 35-40 hours a week on a rota basis. This will include 2 evenings a week from 6-10 and 2/3 Saturday or Sundays a month (hours to be agreed but usually 11-6 on a Saturday or 4 till 10 on a Sunday) ,one regular night shift and additional hours as required. Previous experience in this field is essential as is a driving licence! All our PA's would recommend this position and find working with our daughter very rewarding. We offer excellent training and support and the hourly rate is £13 weekdays and up to £15 at weekends depending on experience, plus 6 weeks holiday pay. Extra for night shifts.

The key role is to help involve our daughter in an active and positive way using all the great resources in London, doing the things she loves and also trying out new things.

Previous experience is essential. Only people with an up to date CV and excellent references need apply. We are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 2 years, this is NOT a temporary position.
