• Location: Isle of White, Hampshire

• Salary: £6.21p/h during 6 weeks training. After training £6.21-£7.00 performance related.

• Hours: Full-Time .Start date 15.01.2013. this is long term job.

Agri-fresh LTD is looking to recruit full time Supervisor’s Assistants for The Wight Salads Group, the leading UK supplier of top quality tomatoes to many of the major retailers such as Tesco, Waitrose and Sainsbury's.



You will be assisting supervisors with encouraging workers to hit targets in picking and crop work. Ultimately, you will need to bring out the best in those that you are responsible for, enabling them to pick quickly to the required standards. You will need to recognize those that need more help and support and encourage them to achieve daily targets. Candidate must be able to communicate in English and has a supervisory experience. Please note this post involve working within industrial glasshouses in temperatures ranging from 18ºC to 34ºC.



Job description:

• Reporting daily to there supervisor

• Helping with the supervision of pickers and crop workers

• Helping pickers/crop workers achieving targets

• Setting targets with supervisors

• Training for pickers/crop worker to achieve targets set

• Reporting to Pro-Force management on a daily basis

• Making sure there staff are happy

• Running a team of around 10/20

• 12 months of the year work

• 28 days holiday

Ideal person

• Must have good English

• Good communication skills

• Computer skills but not accentual training will be given

• Understanding of running a team

• Motivated



Due to the location of the glasshouse, you will be accommodated on the main site. You will be charged £33.73 p/w for accommodation.
